Mike James on fan base raising money for fire golden banner

The people who supported the banner are no fans of the U. Either that or complete ****ing retards.

The banner has temporarily served its purpose. Should we lose next Saturday, expect the bannering to become furious and with a vengeance.

6-4(3-3) is screaming for a banner.

LOL @ anyone actually thinking Al Golden saw a banner and magically learned how to coach.

Whatever happened the past few weeks, and whatever happens the next few weeks, would have happened either way. It has nothing to do with the banner. The banner was an external manifestation of things people inside the program were already well aware of.

Figures this fckboy Mike James would say some shlt like this. He never played a down for a Miami team worth ****.

Freedom of speech and to spend my money any way I want.

If Golden was on minimum wage, I would understand going after his "livelyhood". But my dollars in season tickets pay for him, so I should have a voice. To have it muted because someone doesn't like it, if you feel that way, Russia and Cuba would love you as a citizen.

By the way, I didn't give any money to the banner, but I support it and the folks right to do it. It is their opinion, and their money, and they should be able to do whatever the **** they want with both.

So basically the anti banner people are anti America. Game, set, match *******

I'll give MJ a pass because he's too close to the situation to have any objectivity.

Debating the usefulness of a banner is a fair point, but there's no dumber argument than using starving children or humanitarian causes to justify not spending money on something.

Can somebody, anybody, point to some sort of harm the banner has done? You guys keep talking about about how embarrassing it is, show me some tangible proof that it's so bad.

Im not a golden fan but honestly needing tangible proof is also stupid as ****. You going to get in the head of every person that could be swayed even one percent and get them to testify in court?

It's not about Folden learning how to coach, but rather trusting his players. And he didn't do that until his fat *** started to feel the heat from the fans and (possibly) the administration. The math is real simple...win, and the banners stop! Not that complicated.

Nobody is saying it was just the banner but rather the collective heat. Also, saying it would have happened either way is something you can't know for sure. Lastly, if the coaches knew this whole time, why was no change made til the heat was applied? Your entire post is dumb.

Cool, cause one RB can make up for all coaching and other player deficiencies. What a dumb comment.

Hate when stupidity makes me have to seem like im defending Golden when i'm not, but that's just ridiculous. Guess ***** Duke too then.

Would trusting his players (and calling more aggressive plays on defense, and establishing a more defined offense via the run, and all the other changes that seem to have been made over the past few weeks) not be contained under the umbrella of learning how to coach?

no, they have an opinion too. I respect their opinion. When it crosses the line is either side is oppressed and not allowed to have their opinion. My statement stands, if a person believes another shouldn't have a right to say what they want or spend their money how they want, then there are communist countries that would love them as citizens.
I spent a good portion of my life defending that right, and I don't like it when people feel compelled to oppress rights with liberal agendas. Thought police. Political correctness.

I would support the opposite group just as strongly if they flew a banner supporting Golden and folks ripped them and tried to oppress them; however, you don't see too many folks in that segment of the population except for words on a board.

Confusing. Does that make it better or way worse?

No. **** no!! That would imply he knew what to do all along, but chose not to do it. That falls under the umbrella of being a stubborn jackass, which he is!
Three weeks of better football does not make up for the 3/12 years of bullsh*t we all had to endure.
