the banners are the most ridiculous and humiliating acts from a fan base. Its unreal how ignorant our fanbase can be.

Don't think that was anywhere near his point...but okay guy

Then he probably shouldn't have said it.

"there are sick and hungry kids and you are raising money for _____________________"

doesn't matter.

I guess he would prefer instead of supporting the banner, people take thousands away in the form of not renewing season tickets (people in close proximity)
or stopping their financial support of the university and athletic department (in my case).

**** on outta here tar heels fan.

This is your ridiculous standard to hold the common opinion that the banner is an idiotic waste of money?

Wow.

I see that it's difficult for you to understand that there is a major difference between what you originally posted and what Mike James said.

Mike James essentially said it's an embarrassment for folks to spend money on a banner when there are kids dying.

His point was about the juxtaposition of spending money on banners while there were kids dying.

He didn't say you had to spend your every cent on dying kids.

He said don't spend A CENT on a banner while there are kids dying.

It was about the worthiness/importance of the endeavor in the grand scheme of things.

But I can already tell that this idea/theme is a bit difficult for you to get a hold of.

Disposable income is disposable income, be it drinks at the bar, your new BMW, an apartment in a nicer high rise downtown, or a banner, it is disposable income that he probably has not completely appropriated where he is chastising others for not contributing. So again, until i find out that he actually is rocking a studio apartment and an 85 honda civic, **** on outta here.

Yeah...you don't get it lol

Pretty sure a regular person wouldn't get to keep their jobs if they failed like Golden and the defense did for the first 3 1/2 years. And they get paid a lot of money to not ******* stink. Boo hoo.

Thankfully Mike James has the immunity of being a former player. We might be able to avoid an 8 page attack on his character.

Couldn't help but root for the kid while he was here. Great kid and always played tough.

But he just needs to keep his mouth shut and worry about getting off the bench.

Winning cures all.

Except Golden's job was to keep the program afloat during a ******* NCAA scandal and he didn't fail at all. As a matter of fact a lot of you were groveling at his feet hoping he wouldn't leave after 2011 and 2012 when things were at their darkest.
