Many of our Broward recruits, especially the STA crew, always acknowledge and/or credit Mike Harley, for playing a large role in their recruitment process.

A couple of weeks ago, when Mike had the recruits to throw up The U at that gaytor recruiting event, it was a f'ucking thing of beauty.

After Couch commited today, Harley sent out the below tweet.

If Harley does not have the greatest career on the field for us, IMO, he has earned every bit of the worth of his scholarship. This is why you always accept the commitments from South Florida recruits that are the "big brother" types in the community. It will pay off for years to come!

And don’t underestimate what Harley can do on the field.

He can separate from anybody and he works like @apfenny3

It’s unfair to have a guy like Harley behind Jeff Thomas and Mark Pope.
Hope we find a way to get him a couple touches a game. Seems like the perfect fit for a few drag routes and jet sweeps..

Well said, my friend.

I agree. I love Harley's game and his work ethic is unbelievable. I remember he and Bandy jumping over the fence at Greentree to rep against each other, before they were even enrolled into classes at Miami. ****, just typing that last sentence gives me the chills.

I too, hope that Harley will see the field in several different capacities. I do think, however, that Pope and JT are at a different/higher level, in terms of their talents. If all three are going to be in the slot, I can see how Harley would be 3rd on the depth chart. That is why I hope JT will remain on the outside in the Z receiver position. Pope and Harley can more than hold down the slot.

GIve him four games to pick as a starter and promise him good PT then ask him to RS. This will let him continue to gain the weight and work on the craft along with getting a masters degree!

He’s young and I think was rushed into the lineup a bit too soon last year due to some injuries. I have a ton of confidence in him. He’s a guy you bet on.

Hail Harley

The only thing that can stop the Miami WR fleet -- is bad QB play. And I'll just leave it at that

I'm really glad they moved Harley to the slot this year. I think he can be a very productive player for us there, and possibly have a senior year similar to Berrios.

With his size, it was always going to be hard for him to play on the outside. Thomas can do it because he has that 4.3 speed, but a 4.5 guy like Harley is better off inside. His route running, quickness, and blocking should get him on the field, even with all our other WR talent

Would still give my right but to see Thomas and or Harley in motion and being used on jet sweeps or fakes. Defenses will have fits trying to deal with their speed.
