The only was a coaching change is made is if someone leaves voluntarily.
No one is hiring Jon Richt.
Worst case is someone hires away Brown and/or Dugans.
But we surely have a GA or two to promote.

Yeah, okay. Dugans didn't leave for FSU but somehow he's going to be hired away?
And Brown isnt leaving unless its for a HC job.

Yeah.
Maybe Dugans didn’t believe in Taggert and thought he’d rather stay with Richt. Dugans has a job as long as Richt does. Just because your alma mater calls doesn’t mean you come running. Assuming there was an offer.
Same for Brown. He’s attached at the hip to Richt but for the right opportunity he’d leave.
Richt provides stability but unless he has a dramatic change of heart neither Dugans or Brown are growing into more responsibilities. Neither will be a true, playcalling OC. If they want that role they will need to find it elsewhere.

Good idea. It sounds like Colorado State might be looking for a new coach soon. That might be a good fit for Jon.
I wonder if he’ll turn in the same resume there as he did Um? “ I once lived in Mark Richts ball bag, now where do I sign the contract “?
