Not so sure the pass blocking was all that bad last game - haven't rewatched the UNC game though. Like pressures while it can definitely be a good stat to use, is also not adjusted for time to throw. Just to illistrate that point - if you have a QB that won't throw the ball within 3 seconds, yeah the Oline is going to give up more pressure than a QB that is getting the ball out in 2.5s on majority of throws. Same OLine performing the exact same in both situations could get trashed for high pressures in situation A but praise for low pressures in situation B. Now imo that's relevant because I think it was pretty evident (live at least) that it seemed TVD was REALLY holding on to the ball a while and refusing to take any checkdown all game long. Now if we are giving up 19 pressures EVERY GAME, imo that would obviously signal that the OLine is the problem. But the fact that we're not and live it looked to me more like TVD was kinda causing some of those problems, and I'd lean towards maybe the Oline only had an average day...

Not to debate us seeing different things but I was shocked at how UNC consistently collapsed the pocket against us. Was looking forward (sorta) to see Lance show some more in depth views from it but it seemed like they were moving TVD off his spot and collapsing throwing lanes a lot

Yeah he definitely rolled out of the pocket a lot last game. Again I didn’t rewatch it so maybe I’m just plain wrong. But live it felt more like TVD just held the ball too long, refused to take any check down, and then had to roll out trying to extend the play. Like the pocket pretty much always will collapse if the QB just doesn’t get the ball out at a reasonable quickness.

It’s tough on the first watch for sure so I may not be remembering correctly. I can’t stomach watching that game again

Just felt like the interior especially was getting pushed back more than at any time this season and TVD just really doesn’t deal well with that. Then again no one really does
 
you are standing to see some kids grow but we dont have enough. Wes is a kid we need more of.
