Michigan's centipede formation

This is not an actual formation. Lining up like that is essentially huddling but instead of standing in a circle, they're standing in line. I guess it's supposed to confuse the defense but they're still going to have to line up in a legal formation before the ball is snapped.

They've shown this previously but it wasn't picked up by the media. Its just a pre-snap look. They line up in a traditional formation at snap.
