Michael Yormark AD?

Thirty-two years after a USA-hosted World Cup led to the creation of MLS, Yormark witnessed the newest high for American soccer by taking in Inter Miami's state-of-the-art Nu Stadium in person.

While Lionel Messi (Argentina) stands near the top of the Eastern Conference in MLS, one of the biggest names in the international football world now plays his club games inside a 26,700-capacity venue that features a Leo Messi stand and is the $1bn centerpiece of a 131-acre entertainment district.

"It is one of the finest stadiums I've ever been in. I mean, incredible," Yormark said.

"I give a lot of credit to the Mas family and David Beckham and everybody involved in that organization. To have the vision that they had and to be able to execute that vision and bring it to life is absolutely incredible.

"I've told people ever since I left that stadium that night, which was this past Saturday, that it is truly one of the best stadiums in the world.

"From a sightline perspective, from the overall footprint of the building -- to all the hospitality areas, to the finishings, to the service levels within the building -- absolutely incredible."

I don’t know who this guy is but I don’t like him. If that makes sense…my suggestion would be to let the Mafia cook and hire someone from within the club. That formula has served us well, you all know what I’m talking about. Adelante !
…..the mafia are the ones who picked Yormack. He is cool with the Mas brothers.
Are you sure ? You have sources? I know he’s been hanging around a bit but he doesn’t strike me as a mafia type.

Where are you reading this ?

& the profile on Michael Yormack for the World Cup where he thanks the Mas family

if not Yormark, then who would yall want as candidates / what background should we pull from?

Based purely on resume and accomplishments in the sports industry, I would suggest one of two UM alums, either Jim Frevola or Irwin Raij.

But I'm sure a bunch of posters will try to sell us on guys who have worked in college athletics for most of their careers.
