Michael Warren Senior RB for Lawton High

His highlights look pretty good. But I think his 40yd times are quite inflated he ran a 11.63 and 11.43 sec 100m at the Norman, OK regional which explains why OU and OSU are not interested despite Warren being ranked the #36 RB by rivals and #77 RB by scout. He does have good burst an vision but there may be questions about his speed at the FBS level.

As far as offers go this is what we have right now: UCO, S. Dakota, Campbell University,Toledo and NEO.

Interest: OK State, New Mexico, Washington State, Hobart & William Smith, OU, Ohio, Miss. State and OSU just friended me on Facebook.
I have all Michael's articles on my page; feel free to visit.
Michael has been playing football since he was 8 years old and this really doesn't surprise my husband.
Michael has always been on the Varsity Team, but I look at as though last year wasn't his time. Patience is a virtue and this is his season along with Lawton High's season.
A lot of the colleges are waiting on ACT scores in which he will take on Saturday.
I bestow blessing on all the players on our team as they all are doing an awesome job.

You related to this kid?

Class is practically full. Why would they add a mediocre D 1 talent whose only attribute is a fast time on a track with a relative timing him?

No time right now for big time reaches.

His 11.43 100m was last year during his Junior Year as well and currently runs a 10.7 100m Again the media was slow at updating his information and me as his mother it's my job to ensure the information being supplied is correct. You are referring to last years data my friend. For the person who says I'm "ADVERTISING" for my son......NO it's correcting wrong information and I am sure you would do the same if it were your child.

I don't know what film you were watching......but he did not get caught from behind in his Senior Year; you may have been looking at his Junior Year.

No he is not related to my son and I don't know where you received your information, however Texas A & M is the one who clock his time at 4.3 for the 40 during his summer camp visit. And yes this is his mother correcting you on your facts.

He seems to be good for 15 to 20 yard runs but look at the RBs we have... they are good for 50 to 80 yard runs and touchdowns... he is not miami caliber...

by the way Michael's longest run is 96 YRDs. If he had not had 12 TDs (50 YRDS or more) called back because of holding in the backfield Michael would have close to 4,000 yards rushing.

Decent speed but doesn't play 4.36.
Absolutely no shake or wiggle to his game.
Runs with good power.
Is the epitome of a "track guy playing football"
Not nearly on the level of ANY of the RBs we've got committed or are still actively recruiting.

Wish him well, but Miami is not the place for him.

Pass.

To address you Michael was never a track star and just started running track his Sophomore Year to increase his speed and has always been a football player since the age of 8.

Genuinely convinced the OP is once again the kids mom advertising on his behalf

Let me be perfectly CLEAR: if it were your child I'm sure you would do the same to make sure your son/daughter's information was correct. Michael had D1 Offers before I started correcting the media. I will continue to correct information that is wrong. If you want to call it "ADVERTISING" then so be it, the fact remains he has very good offers and maybe you should read: http://thefootballbrainiacs.com/mos...st-joe-mixon-nathan-starks-and-michael-warren. An no we are not related to Mossis Madu; Just Saying....

Medicore talent huh? You know not which you speak and it's laughable..

man we are scraping the bottom of the barrel for recruits

I believe your comment is rude and not warranted!! There is no scraping of the bottom of the barrel when it comes to my son. I don't know what you are looking at as far as film. 9 D1 schools sees something you don't and just because his style doesn't fit your school gives you no right to bash a very talented young man. Maybe you should do your homework and see what Michael has accomplished during his Senior Year playing 6A football. Michael was #1 in my state of OK before they lost the 2nd round during the playoffs. My son's stats speak for themselves. I urge you to also read http://thefootballbrainiacs.com/mos...st-joe-mixon-nathan-starks-and-michael-warren from Mossis Madu in which I will take his analysis to the bank as he is the subject matter expert. As far as rankings go they don't mean anything at the end of the day if when you get to school you can't perform because kids rankings were inflated. I have seen that more than once during this thread and trust me his speed nor his ability is inflated.

Kid has nice feet, good vision and he seem's fast. He will make someone a good RB. He also has, what seem to be, good hips and hands. He might make a good CB and return man too. Thanks for sharing the video. If his competition is legit, someone might get lucky picking up this kid.[/QUOTE

I don't think he had any choice who he played in 6A football.

I'm incredulous at the negative reaction to this kid's film. Did you guys actually watch his film? This is an absolutely legitimate offer for us at running back. The kid has elite speed -- he runs effortlessly by everyone on the field at every opportunity. There are multiple runs in every video where he straight up breaks tackles or shakes people who should have tackled him. What's more, he shows the ability to get behind the defense as a receiver and to follow blockers on a screen. If he gets his ACT score, there is no doubt he'll have an offer from Oklahoma. My guess is he'll soon have offers from other top schools as well.

Thank you for your positive comment!! I can't believe how negative these posts are and I wouldn't want my son to play where people ridicule an individual in such a manner. This good thing is my son is humbled and don't care what people think; he plays for the love of the game. As I posted in another thread, Michael has 9 D1 Offers: Toledo, Washington State, Southern Miss, Tulsa, S. Dakota, New Mexico, Sam Houston, Campbell and Abilene Christian.
