Ariel go back into your shell for nap time.

You probably get so fired up when you see Irvin screaming and yelling.

Break out the pom poms and old cheerleading skirt

I like Irvin, but he's got a habit of making things about himself. He's a great Cane - always will be - but his time at center stage has come and gone. Happy for him to be around, but I don't need him turning the spotlight away from the current players.

There is probably some degree of truth about Irvin making it a bit about himself, but I believe he is sincere about his passion for his alma-mater.
Folks from soFla, especially those who played football, rarely lose their allegiance and passion for their HS and College alma-mater, especially those who played at UM.
Heck, some of them return to their true grassroots, supporting their Pop Warner/Optimist teams.
Remember, ever since he went to the pros, he has been calling UM players, dispensing advise and encouragement.
It's in his blood.
He won alot of games at STA, UM and Dallas.

Ppl mad about a HOF’er loving and always supporting his school he had a big part in building.

😂 some of yall must be miserable in real life.

Jumps in a year later ^^

Who said I'm angry about him loving and supporting his team?

Are you goofy?

One more thing on Irvin....it has been reported that his wife is suffering from Alzheimer's. I think it is good that he is able to spend a few hours away from those real and personal challenges. My .02.

Imagine being mad about a HOF Cane no where near the coaches being passionate about home team and thinking it negatively impacts the program.
Honestly it is a bit tired. Love his passion but don't think he should be the first guy addressing a player coming off the field. Save that for his teammates/coaches. 47 had his time. He should be background noise, not on all 4's barking like a dog. It steals the spotlight, intended or not. Not a criticism. Just observation. To each his own.
