Much better than I expected him to be. He has talent.
He is inconsistent
I don't know what the **** you guys are talking about.
16 of 19 with two of the misses coming from 50+. That's one of the best percentages in the country.
5 for 5 from 40-49 yards.
Pretty solid numbers if you ask me. One of the best in the country at the moment.
Every few kicks, he shanks one badly. It hasn't resulted in a miss recently, but they aren't good kicks. It only goes for so long. As long as they keep going in, it won't matter, but its hard to trust.
Since when is kicking about style points? The kick is either good or it's not. It's three points whether it's down the middle or bounces off the upright.
If you can't "trust" a guy that's 16 of 17 from 49 yards in, then I don't know what to tell you.
He is 9/10 30yds and shorter. He missed a bad one, and was close to missing a few.
From 40-49, he is 5-5, which is great. That is where it matters most, but its only 5.
50 yarders, I don't care that me missed.
As far as "style" points as you call it. He isn't kicking the ball the same way each time. His form is off. So far, it has been a problem that is "working out," but every 5th or so kick, it goes wildly. He doesn't have control over the kicks.
Just a random game from youtube, FAU
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bFaDQNCXS_Y
First PAT- good, no issues
2nd PAT- woof
1st FG- how a FG should look
2nd FG- good
3rd PAT- woof, he sees it himself
3rd FG- good
4th PAT-shanked right, just slipped in
5th PAT- good
Before watching that I hadn't noticed,
Badgley knows it himself.
He had a lot of kicks this game, its why I looked at it, you can do this for any game. Claiming "style" points is you just trying to dismiss something you don't understand. Brush your ******* teeth.
There are waaaaay bigger problems on the team than this though.
