Miami vs Wisky

So, does our offense get their act together and score some points? I think we can stop their run game, but I'm seriously concerned about the offense coughRosiercough.

If Rosier can hit open receivers we'll be fine. If he cant, we won't.
 
Wisconsin td fav for a reason. After 2 bad games by us, deficiencies in our offense is obvious. Appears only thing other posters think that will put us over the top is that we are playing at home. No doubt home crowd had an impact in wins over va tech and n dame. But we were on a winning streak and our players were playing with a tremendous amount of confidence. The disastrous loss to a bad Pitt game busted our bubble and we went into the Clemson game with the players questioning their ability to beat them. Result was a blowout loss. It will be very difficult for our players to regain the mojo they had before Pitt loss. Wisconsin is a very sound team that can out physical us. Unfortunately I feel the team will not play with the intensity we had during our winning streak and Wisconsin will play a sound fb game and do enough to win.

I guess it's a good thing your soft shoulders don't mean **** to the players. We get it, you sit when you pee. You don't have to keep doubling down.
 
Clemson loss had nothing to do with Pitt loss..Clemson kicked our buts because they are a bad as s team.. They showed us we still.have some catching up to be amongst the elite. Wisconsin no where close to.being a Clemson.either. Wisconsin is a very winnable game at home

lol at comparing two away games to a home game that's also a new years eve bowl. I don't know why you would sadly predict the team will not have intensity. You will see the same Hurricane force intensity you saw for the VT and nd games. You do know that whisky just loss their conference game also right? So they can keep their mojo but Miami can't? You have no faith in the team you follow but you have faith in whisky to perform well while the Canes do not. Get al folden off your brain man. The last thing I'm worried about for the game is the teams intensity. All my cards are on Rosier and Diaz to make or break the game.

Our defense should be able to handle a one-dimensional offense with a QB who loves to turn it over. So this one will come down to Malik. If he plays like he did the last two games we can’t beat any good teams.
 
If Rosier can put up a stat line of 50% completions, 250+ yards and 2 TDS we will win. The offense needs to manufacture 17 points and we win. Not asking a lot of Rosier, but this is the bare minimum to beat Wisconsin. If we can’t put up 17 vs Wisky, we deserve to get an L
 
after back to back embarrassing loses and a few weeks to rest and get healed up I think we roll.
 
I watched Wisky against Ohio St. We are good enough to beat them.

Wisky will not beat themselves. They are very sound defensively. So their strength against our weakness.

It boils down to Rosier making plays. We must find a way to manufacture 120 rushing yards and 275 passing yards.

Are you saying I should always think canes will win every game they play. It is one thing wanting the canes to win but another thing losing ones objectivity. Until the Pitt game I felt we could win out and have a chance at
the ship. The Pitt collapse and Clemson rout revealed that we have a way to go to attain elite status. It would be easy to post that canes will "roll" against Wisconsin but based on last 2 games I feel our offense has become ineffective. Wisconsin will pound the ball. Our offense will be unable to sustain drives. Wisconsin will eventually wear down our defense due to the offense being ineffective and forcing defense to play too long on the field. I hope I'm wrong but last 2 games revealed our offense is unable to sustain long drives and give the defense ample time on the bench to stay effective when they are on the field.

I'm saying the implication of your "let us see" comment suggests you'd rather be right than see the Canes win. But I'm happy to see you now say you hope you're wrong.

As far as your analysis is concerned, it ignores some critical facts. Clemson didn't beat us because Pitt burst our bubble and sapped us of our confidence. They beat us because they are a better team at critical positions, our streaky QB had one of his worst performances of the season, and our defense was tired. As applies to Wisconsin, they aren't on Clemson's level athletically, our QB has a much better chance of playing better at home, and the defense will get some much needed rest before bowl game.

I dunno. I’m back to where I was before the season started with Rosier. Zero faith.
 
Most fans are Fanatic.
I love my Canes. It's been this way for nearly 50 years. I have seen nearly everything positive and negative about our Canes.

I'm telling you we can not take Wisky lightly. They are a poor man's 'Bama. I think with the time off, we'll be prepared and ready. I'm just saying this will be a 60 minute game
