The Gates have always had a massive inferiority complex over Miami. Even when they duck us for 10 years. Then when do play (and lose) they claim it's not important because of the SEC.

They're still dumbfounded and furious that Schnellenberger put us on the map.

They totally punked us in their 2008 championship season under Liar trying to score that last second TD. Didn’t succeed but they were running up the score after we held them close for 3 quarters. I’ve wanted to put 100 on them every time we meet since then.

Miami has the better historical program. PERIODT. More wins head to head, more championships. And they had like a 40 year head start. Miami is better throughout history. Full ******* stop. We’ve beaten you more than you’ve beaten us, overall. In the last 10, you’ve won 2.

And good lord, could the last 2 seasons have been more embarrassing? Genuinely. We made them tap the last 2 years. On their **** field, in one. Bullied them up and down the field, at no point did they think they had a shot to win, and that ******* sewer was EMPTY in the early 4th quarter except for US. Trust me, I was there. In the middle of the Bull Gator section. **** looked like a funeral, and half full, at best.

So don’t let these people say ****. They don’t have a ******* word to say to us. Miami is better in the past. Miami is better currently. Is there anyone on earth who’d buy stock today on UiF vs Miami for the future? We can’t predict what happens, but the answer is a fat ******* NO.

And those 2 wins for UF came when we were at our worst and they were at their best. 2008 and 2019.

Neutral site opener we could have absolutely won. Some say we should have. Florida ended up winning the Orange Bowl and gave a historic LSU team their toughest game. Miami lost to FIU. Don’t need to say much more.

Yes, this was arguably the greatest UF team of all time against a Randy Shannon clunker in The Swamp and don’t let the score fool you. This was a one score game headed into the 4th quarter.

Verdict: Florida just doesn’t do well when they play us. Even when they’re good and we’re awful, we give them ****. If it’s the other way around, we blow them out of their own stadium...into outer space. With the new SEC schedule and the 2 most recent outcomes between the 2 of us, I would be absolutely shocked if they agree to play us again…ever.

I don’t care about the at their best/worst stuff. That’s cope. That’s loser talk. If I whip your ***, it’s not my fault that you’re “down”. That’s a YOU problem, not a me problem. It’s my job to be good every year. So I put 0.0 credence into the “you beat one of the worst Miami teams ever” or like FSU fans right now saying the same. Oh, you’re beating Mike Norvell, congrats. Uh, yeah? You’re paying him $10M to beat us. If he doesn’t, that sucks for you, like Mystikal said, “it ain’t my fault”.

Respect that. Applicable especially in rivalries. I suppose what I was trying to say is, even when UF has 1st rounders or legendary players, we still kick their *** and they’re sort of our little..*****?

Also I find the Tom Petty “won’t back down” gimmick an insult to the legendary musician solely based on the fact UF literally cancelled our annual rivalry out of fear. I know ole Tom is a fan and he’s from there but come on Tom, make sure those hits are use appropriately! UF most definitely “backed down” on that one!

Because we beat the **** out of them physically in that game. I ALMOST felt bad for Lagway at one point they were so thoroughly dominated

It just shows what an underachieving team Texas was last season, because Florida was just never that good, they were basically bad every game they played. Yet they stomped a much more talented Texas team.

Actually, 31-27.

58 total games played.

UGa started playing The Gator 23 years before we did. Same conference. 103 games played.
Auburn started playing The Gator 26 years before we did. Same conference. 84 games played.
Kentucky started playing The Gator 21 years before we did. Same conference. 76 games played.
LSU started playing The Gator a year before we did. Same conference. 72 games played.

With the history that UM and UF have, Miami might as well be a member of the SEC.

Unless someone else pops out of the woodwork, Baugh is their offense. Philo is strictly ball control, short passes, bubble screens, quick slants, dumpoffs to the running backs, and if they’re smart, they won’t let him air it out downfield.
 
UF probably goes 6-6 or 7-5 this year, which I’m sure would get them thinking they’re back lol
