Miami Vs UF

I know Billy has said he isn't sitting Lagway but I will be curious to see if he gets enough pressure this week to change that philosophy quick this week. Looking at the stats, UF should have beat LSU. They had the ball 50% more than LSU, more than double the first downs. Lagway sank that ship on his own...

Not impressed at all with Nussmeier.

Obvious to say but feels more important than usual to get off to a good start this weekend. The Gator is on quit watch. Don’t let them get up
Especially their defense. The defense has been playing well enough to win the last two and the offense hasn't been there. Will be interesting to see the body language on their defense after the first offensive let down.

As of now, there are no scheduled games between UM and UF beyond this Saturday. Does anyone have information on whether future matchups are being discussed?

With SEC going to 9 game conference schedule, the UF<>FSU game locked in annually, and an annual FCS cupcake, it might be a long time before we play them in the regular season again. Even more reason why we need a beat down - keep that taste in their mouth for a looong time (pause).

Was thinking the same. If this is the last game, let make it count.

I expect a score like 31-13.

If I were a gambling man, I would be extremely confident that we will cover.

Floridas Oline and then Run D is probably the only thing that is going decently well this season for them.

My main worry about this game is less about UF and more about Us. This is CFB and you'd be a fool to think that this isn't the exact type of game that can get plenty of teams caught up. Playing a team that lost to the team we just killed. Lagway coming off a 5int game and worst game of his career, don't really think he could possibly perform worse. Napier is about to be fired. It's a rivalry game...

Having said all that, If we prevent Lagway from hitting big plays, we're are going to absolutely murder them imo. I think Beck has a great game. And if we start fast, I think Mario just puts his foot on their throat

41-13 Canes.

OL is getting pushed back though given how many plays stopped behind the line. Seems we have to overload their right side and if we do it should be a wrap.

What did he actually do?
I havent been able to find it. I was at the game but didnt see anything specifically, and he (coach) issued a statement apologizing to the student athlete and his family. When I first read the SEC statement I thought it was likely about him not pulling players away and continuing to talk trash, thought that would be a bit of a harsh punishment but I get a coach yelling at kids is a no no.

However after the apology to only ONE athlete (and that athlete's family) my guess is he either said something or physically pushed or touched em or something.
