Miami vs Pitt gets 12 noon slot

Our biggest game in more than a decade is at 12 noon. Don't matter. ****t on Pitt and win, and let the chips fall where they may.
That's not how I'd be selling it to our players.

It's a business trip. If you want to be taken seriously you need to go there and take care of business.

The rest is out of our hands - so there's no need to lie to them and tell them it's the biggest game in the last decade. You're just setting yourselves up for a massive letdown when things don't go our way and we're held out of the Playoffs and ACCCG.

Win. Win 10 games. Don't let yourselves down. That's the message.

Fair enough, but I don't think it's a lie.

This is a massive game for the future of the program.

Win, and regardless of whether we get good fortune and make the playoff, we'd have won 10 regular season games two years in a row, and Coach (regardless of what you think of him) can credibly sell that he's got the program on the right track to become an elite college football team again. Lose, and I think there's a strong possibility that last year will be high water mark of his tenure here. If, in year 4, you lose to 3 conference foes you shouldn't with a really good team, that doesn't fill me with hope and joy for the future.

****t on Pitt!

SMU is on Cristobal we weren't up for that one or prepared

beck has been great for most the season but I'm not sure how anyone looks at the louisville game and thinks "that's on Mario" instead of beck who threw 4 interceptions and we were in a position to tie/win it until the 4th with a minute to go

I know it’s not shocking news, but the ACC and ESPN are corrupt. If there was any integrity, they would have all the key games starting at the same time so that it would take a massively sophisticated communications network which the ACC is incapable of executing to help all of their referees ***** Miami.

Instead, they get to watch it all play out and make us suffer all day while they can plan for the evening 😂😎

you guys are tripping --- only way the cold weather affects us is if it freezes Dawson's play calling

players will be fine -- all on Mario and coaches

I mean that's a bit of a dated mindset in this NIL era when you have a roster full of kids from all over. Y'all act like this entire team is just full of South Florida kids that never left the state.
When you live in South Florida for a year your body aclimates to the weather.

When you move somewhere else your body adjusts too. So it does still have an impact

Doesnt matter the time if it’s cloudy and windy. I lived in nyc for 6 years and if it’s 35 cloudy and windy…… 12pm feels the same as 8pm.
If it’s 35 and no clouds and no wind then it’s not bad at all after a few plays. It actually feels nice after a while of running around.

But if all you see is clouds with a wind of even 10 mph….. ooooo weeeee it’s fckng cold!!!

Nothing on the players showing up and playing hard, tackling, catching passes?

It’s on the entire program. Not all on coaches and not all on players. Everyone needs to do their part coaches down to the players. Coach can call the perfect pass if you drop it then what? On the coach?

Refs for sure are going to ***** us next week.

and please, if this team cant play in 30-35 degrees then they all need to quit football

Do we try to feature Marty Brown in this game? He's a cold weather athlete. Played 3 years at North Dakota state. Mid 30's is short sleeve weather to those folks. lol

CJ Daniel also played three seasons at Liberty in Virginia. He's got some experience in colder weather games. Anyone else?

That Stadium is awful. The field plays very slow and this is the type of game where Pitt wants to play sloppy

Sadly, it might Mario play to his weakness
