exactly.There’s nothing we can do to stop the committee from moving the goal posts which is what they seem to be consistent at doing
miami with 2 losses isnt in the same tier as notre dame or alabama each with 2 losses because miami's losses were to terrible 7-3 teams. The stength of Miami's non conference wins over ND head to head, UF who beat their beloved Texas and a USF team that until last week looked like a playoff team, are not significant . Its who you lost to. Unless you are Alabama who is in ND's tier with a loss to an ACC team that has won 2 acc games over the last 2 seasons combined. In alabama's case they are ranked in the same tier as ND because of the strength of their wins. They have 4 ranked wins- UGA clearly a great win and then wins over three vaunted SEC powerhouse in TN, Vandy and Missouri. Keep in mind those 3 teams are all ranked and their best wins are vs Missouri, Auburn, and South Carolina?
The goal posts will be moved week by week to justify a gap between miami and ND and the head to head will be ignored.
