Band-aid on a broken leg. We gave up 92 points on 60% shooting from the field and 50% from 3. We shot 42% from 3 on 19 attempts. It wouldn't have mattered.

I am not sure it would have mattered, but with no one really playing strong D (Or any for some parts of the game), I wouldn't have been broken up going with the hot hand offensively.

We fought back and folded a bit at the end. I don't think he would have corrected those failure points (if we want to call them that).

No wonder everyone argues with you. You're a moron. Who cares if he can't defend? No one defended today. Might as well get the hottest shooter out there to help us come back and maybe give them a bigger lead than 2 pts.
 
Who here thinks in a game where no defense is being played anyways, bringing in Dovrat for more playing time in the 2nd half would have been a BAD thing? Who here thinks his great shooting of late couldn't make a difference in a game that was back n forth by 1 to 2 pts the past 4 minutes or so? No way I'm alone in this thinking. His defense couldn't have been worse than Allen or true or Tre in today's game! Jesus.

So play Dovrat more and lose a game by 15, but at least your boy fills the stat sheet right? We were down 9 at half. We needed stops, and got enough of them down the stretch Blame our defense in the first 10 minutes of the game. Not a 3 three point specialist who 'should have played more'. To say that Allen shouldn't have played much in the second half is one thing, but to say that Tru didn't is crazy.

Also, next time, come at me with more than 'you're a moron' if you're attempting to a prove a point that zero logic associated with it.

I think down the stretch we went with the starting 4 plus Tru iirc. That's probably our best lineup tbh. Dante has looked erratic again and Noam could theoretically only replace Tre there and that isn't going to happen

Miami could have also lost more games as well. This team played in a ton of close games, a TON, and we need to recognize that things could have easily gone the other way. Why is it so incredibly difficult for this fanbase to merely enjoy what happened and be realistic about what this team is?

Miami played in a ton of close games this season. For Miami to win as many as they did, that's a tribute to coaching. Good coaches win their fair share of close games, but even the best aren't able to win every single one.

We played 8 games decided by 6 or less. We were 4-4 in those games. We were the better team in all but 1. Need to close out close games, especially at home, especially against lesser teams.
