****Miami vs. Louisville GAME THREAD****

Very tough loss at home. We should have won at end but Louisville shot their lights out today even without their star player.

Losing this does't hurt too much. We just have to try to get better positioning in tourney now.

This is the downside of when people that haven't been paying attention all season start showing up.

Was this the best game Miami has played all year? No, but it's far from pathetic. Miami lost a winnable game to a fellow NCAA Tournament team. Never mind the fact that coming into this week, most of us wanted a split between SMU and UL. Miami got that. This team has been bad at defending the three all season, Louisville was able to take advantage, and that was pretty much the difference today.

Not to mention the facts we came back from double digits to take the lead and we've finally started to hit the free throws. We can coulda / shoulda this team but I thought that was a heck of a second half. Let's go make some noise in the ACCT.

terrific year. im fine w a 1-1 week. were a good team a few years away from being a contender and were this good right now.
Years? We had an excellent season. We have to stop the years away mentality with the portal. We are 24-7 and we blew 4 of those games, 3 of them at home. Incredible turnaround this season. We are going to the dance. 3rd in the ACC. We are here now. Learn from this and get ready for the ACC and NCAA Tournaments. Now. Not 2029.

The announcers said Tru got it off in time. No, no he did not. We suck at getting shots off at the end of close games. Had that gone in but it wasn't in time, how frustrating would that have been?! The turnover was unacceptable bad has happened multiple times now. To come back like they did and to lose that way.. Is ridiculous. This game would have helped us with seeding. Hopefully it doesn't hurt us too much and all of a sudden we're a bubble team. Miami has a lengthy history of getting ***ked over come selection Sunday! So MANY CLOSE losses man. 4 by less than 3 points wow.

The fact that we clawed our self back into this game when we had no business doing so and even gave ourselves a chance to win tells me all I need to know heading into tournament time. This team is absolutely capable of making a run

Not without lights out perimeter shooting.. which is what we lack.

They were also wrong with the making the FT being a blessing... it was not... Miami works better on the fly ... which is why I asked the question earlier about whether Jai calling a timeout for a set play has worked at all when he has done it.
