We got to the bonus with 15 min left in the 2nd half and I told my wife that’s not good and we’ll lose because we’re better off from the floor than relying on the shots from the line.

Embarrassing loss. For many reasons.

Considering what this team was last year, I'm not going to pretend that a NIT appearance is something to sneeze at. Miami has come a long way from being arguably the worst team in the ACC. If this team had just a bit more depth, this would be an NCAA Tournament team, but it's tough to win ACC games with only six legit players....
 
Canes need more from their bench and continue to be uncoordinated as a unit at times. Way too streaky. I still think this team has the talent to make a run. Far better than last season.

This is not a tournament talent level team, yet Jai has a whole bunch of fools here thinking it is. So that should tell you how good of a job Jai has done as a rookie HC.

Its an insane level of stupidity to call for Jai's head this year. Its simply from ppl who have an agenda or know nothing about basketball.

It was a bad loss. FSU was a bad loss. Tourney or no tourney we have to stop making excuses for these losses when we have the better teams.

For me, i went from looking forward to watching this squad to now just frustrating. FT and overall shooting is worst ive ever paid attention to. Zero bench options. 2 euros that are unplayable. Just stuck like chuck with what we have and are.
 
We may have been playing over our heads bring a rookie team and it’s caught up with us.

Veteran teams are peaking now , we don’t know this word , we really don’t want MARCH MADNESS we think we do because we’re athletic but no court presence at all we just run up and down the court and see what happens.

Passing ball stinks
Threes stinks
FT stinks

These (3) things teams are peaking at right now and critiquing fine tuning there game for tournament play , we’re trying to learn it now with issues and lack of confidence.

Maybe take shot at NIT and win a game there early for experience.
 
Just throwing this out there, Furman just went 16/21 from the charity stripe.
8/10 in the final 2 minutes to close it out. F’ing Furman can hit FTs when it matters and ACC Miami not so much. Yeah that stings a lil
 
This team just isn’t that talented. They’ve way outperformed their talent by starting 17-5. I think talent wise we’re closer to Cal than many here would like to admit.
