Blount is forced to play inside because our depth is so poor there when in reality yes, he should be DE3. But now we have to preserve his 270 pound body for DT since we are so thin there.
I get that, but setting the edge should be a priority. Blay, Moten, and Scott, should be your regular DT rotation. Blount slides in on passing downs. In reality all your big DEs should an option to slide inside due to the depth.

well just looking at the tackling recently, I think it’s safe to say some regression has occurred
Tackling has gotten worse every week. The numbers are clear. But that’s mainly due to opponents. ND wasn’t getting people in space. They had a fairly simple game plan with a brand new QB. USF, UF, FSU, and Ville all did things that made us tackle 1v1. Each team more than the last.

Miami needs to reinvent themselves every year at mid season… we come out nice at the beginning of every year.. once the tape is out on us we don’t try to change it up.

Mario always preaches Playing hurricanes football Well we do ……miss tackles false starts offsides …same 2 plays dive and wr screens what’s the issue then
The false starts have to stop idc if they have to put speakers on either end of the practice field blaring but these dudes need to learn to trust the count

It’s a ******* home game against Stanford… Myles Garrett or TJ watt isn’t across from you
