Things that make you go hmm...

We lose 9 regular starters but will have 11 returning starters in 2019

QB - Perry
RB - none
WR - Thomas
TE - Jordan
OL - Donaldson, Scaife
DL - Garvin, Bethel
LB - Quarterman, Pinckney
DB - Bandy, Finley

McDermott and Manny have a good repoire, plus the Bills have less LBs on the roster and less guys set in stone on the team in that position. Mike Smith really has a chance there
Have to put all loyalties aside at that level and do what’s best to make the roster. Dan Morgan is the director of player personnel and really liked Mike so it was a no brainer for us

What makes you go hmmm? It’s regular attrition imo.

Lose cager/langham etc

Replace with Osborn who is far better than both and add jeremiah Payton who looks like a stud

Although Travis homer was a good player we still have a talented backfield to replace him

Oline- gaynor has a higher ceiling than gaulthier at center and same can be said for Cleveland reed at guard over any of the ones who started last year

De- joe Jackson is a loss make no mistake about it. But we have talented depth there and landing trevon hill was big; should be a big help with pass rush.

Dt- loss of Gerald Willis and Tito can be huge but I think The combo of Nesta Silvera, ford, chigozie nnorkua, bethel could be really good.

Db- 3 of the 5 biggest losses on the team however you replace those guys with some talented dbs.

So we will lack experience in some spots but the talent certainly won’t be lacking

Was dean signed as a tryout or free agent?

The good thing is you can basically throw out all the losses for offense. This may be one of those scenarios like when Diaz took over for D’onofrio: guys go from looking useless to legit players. We still need to settle the Tackle situation.

Say what you will about our lack of elite talent but we're replacing a lot of regular contributors from 2018.

Rosier - starting QB
Homer - starting RB
Gray - starting FB
Langham - starting WR
Cager - starting WR
St. Louis - starting LT
Jones - starting LG
Gauthier - starting center
Mahoney - 3rd G
Boulware - 4th G
Milo - backup C
Willis - starting DT
Jackson - starting DE
Odenigbo - starting DT
Smith - 3rd LB
Dean - 3rd CB
Redwine - starting FS
Johnson - starting SS
Jackson - starting CB
Butler - starting LS
Fecals - sharting punter

It's college football. You turn over roughly 25% of your roster every year. Why do people think Miami is the only school who loses players to graduation or the draft? Besides, most of those guys were net negatives to the team performance last year.
