I didn’t hate some of what Dawson was doing. Softening up the A&M interior attacking the perimeterDawson has to have the most limited playbook in the country. It’s all in one way or the other. Either A gap 70% of the time or trickery non stop. Can’t have a balance week to week. Interior run has been there so let’s not lean on it to quiet the crowd and instead line up 3rd and +8 half the time.
They need to establish the run and take some shots downfield. Seeing Dawsons gameplan and what the analytics said A&Ms defense strengths were tells me he is either wildly overconfident in our offense or he’s an idiot.
Yes. We haven't seen any slants, shallow crosses, or whip routes.Run the ball and target Mali on those whip routes
it seemed like the last possession we had a strong run and a nice pass catchAs always, the game day thread delivering the overreactions
I definitely don’t agree with what we’re doing on offense of course. I didn’t see Brown or Pringle for a single snap. They need to be involved.
Every play that requires air time for the football is going to be questionable at best due to the wind. There has to be a significant adjustment to the game plan. And obviously it’s ******* with our kicking game.
Defensively we have been stout, but our offense isn’t doing them any favors. TOP has evened out some but we need to sustain some drives to keep them fresh for the 4Q.
Reed is having just as much trouble throwing as Beck, outside of one long throw and catch. Keep him in the pocket and good things should happen.
It’s probably going to come down to one or two huge game changing plays today. I think we’re up to the task but we need to step up in the next 30 minutes for sure.
Are you serious? The coaching has been atrocious. We are supposed to be happy getting shutout at the half?this is a @#$#$@ take
we are literally tied 0-0 with a team that was 11-1 and ranked #3 in the country a few weeks ago.
at their house in front of 107,000
with a 30 hour gusting wind
Yeah, just complete some passes. I’m surprised no one else thought of that.Still need to work the ball downfield. Don’t need sideline routes but at least hit some mesh, crossing routes, etc. need north south not east west b
Dawson is currently wearing a helmet holding a spoon drooling as we speakA touchdown would be very cool
Yes. We haven't seen any slants, shallow crosses, or whip routes.
Pound the ball inside to stay ahead of the chains, then the passing game will open up.
I don’t think you can read good sir! I said disaster across the board
