The Miami Hurricanes are staying put at No. 4 in the latest AP Poll rankings following Miami's 41-13 win over the Clemson Tigers.



Miami now sits behind No. 3 Notre Dame, No. 2 Georgia, and No. 1 Texas. Other ACC schools include No. 24 SMU and No. 25 Pittsburgh. The Wake Forest Demon Deacons are also receiving votes.

The Hurricanes are now on a bye-week before facing in-state rival the Florida State Seminoles back home at Hard Rock Stadium.

Yeah definitely better than Clemson. They are a legit team but not dominant by any stretch of the imagination. I kind of feel the same way about OSU. There’s nothing that really impresses me about those two teams.

Since Congress has been getting involved in CFB I call on the congressional delegation of Florida to hold hearings on this. Since these polls influence the CFP voters and other metrics and CFb is a 15 billion dollar + industry how is it not an issue that needs to be investigated….

No problem with being ranked 4th as things will play out. That said, there are multiple issues elsewhere as usual. Mississippi State got demolished & only minor damage in poll. Wake Forest not being ranked is absolutely crazy. Narduzzi calls out voters after pulling a rabbit out of his *** & gets ranked - really? Enjoy it, cause Pitt has no chance going forward without QB.

Long as nothing is ever done to blow up this system it's gonna stay rigged like this brother. Those votes are bought and paid for with blood money & america as a society at this point is too Stoopid & tied up with social media to ever show some backbone. Add to the constant sec nonsense the fact we dropped after a struggle against wake. They keep wake out for pretty obvious reasons yet keep those pedos at notre lame exactly where they were after a below average performance where they struggled greatly to take down the mighty unc tarpitts. Sec rankings are always gonna be a joke

 

We were at 1524 pts while nd was at 1532 in this weeks poll. The poll is meaningless but it is interesting to note that we’re closing the gap in perception (at least amongst the voters). Last week they were ahead by 80 pts.

 

A couple observations:

1. TX and GA now pretty separated from #3 and lower.
2. Miami-ND gap closed considerably and are now essentially tied
3. The SEC fix is in and more blatant than ever. Take 3 ranked SEC teams. A then beats B, B beats C and C beats A. All end up higher than when started because have a ranked opponent win and a good loss + move up.

I'm reasonably sure Wake would clobber gators or Miss St. Outrageous WF unranked. Canes could easily play them again at year end.

Yall are missing the funniest one. Kentucky dropping out after a crazy road comeback in OT. They needed an SEC scapegoat to drop so they could pretend they’re not completely in the bag for the SEC. They’ll point to this when they get questioned. Just watch.

VT and Pitt basically played to a stalemate and Duke is undefeated with a road B10 win. The bias is something we’ve all gotten used to but this year it’s on another level.
