UCLA moved up two spots without playing while Houston dropped two spots and SMU dropped 3 while both beating P4 conference opponents.
Watching both the Miamiband ND games this weekend, I completely agree Miami is the better team. Miami went into Death Valley relying on a bunch of backups and starters playing out of position. Miami dominated Clemson and played a pretty clean game considering.
ND went into Chappelle Hill against UNC in a contested game much into the 4th quarter giving up 26 points to a UNC team that was best by Clemson.
For 2 weeks I've watched ND. They look like a good team, not a great team. Their offense looks completely different without superstars at RB.
Clemson was a great test for the Hurricanes. Miami went into a hostile environment and didn't flinch despite not being at full strength. This bodes well for the ND game. I don't think The ND defense is better than Clemson's defense. Both have very good secondaries and good but not great front 7. I'm confident Miami can go into South Bend and leave with a win. This should move the Hurricanes to #2 as I believe either Texas and/or Georgia will lose a game and move down in the rankings.
Remember, some losses are better than some wins.

I’m ****ed Clemson embarrassed themselves W1 and reinforced the narrative that ACC is a weak conference. And of course FSU was hapless against Bama. It’s those cross conference games the ACC needs to start winning over SEC teams to bias the corruption.

Why? They gave up 26 points to UNC. That's more points tha Clemson gave up to UNC. ND hasen't played any team with a pulse. They look good not dominant. Very similar to Clemson.
The ACC has had a winning record over the SEC the last two out of three years

I don't believe in transitive property. I have watched every ND game for good chunks and their defense just looks better to me. They create more havoc and have a really good front 7 with some studs on the back end.
And loook what they did to Ole Miss and they didn’t drop much. High level corruption and we can’t do anything about it
Rankings especially early in season should not be looked at as starting FROM last weeks rankings.
Each week it should update how much you value previous wins/losses.
Miss St beat Missouri. Missouri beat UF who beat Ole miss who beat LSU. As of today that's all you really have. Plus MissSt beat a 1 loss Minnesota team that beat michgigan and washington.... Meanwhile Tenn is top 15 and beat basically only Auburn at home... the same auburn that UF beat on road. Why on earth is Tenn ahead of UF? And Missiouri beat UF and MissSt beat them....

Clemson has played LSU and Miami. ND has played no ranked team or even good team. We haven't played anyone either, but our pass defense is statistically better than ND despite our injuries to the secondary.
