I swear the things you’re doing man have literally no nuance. It’s a massive difference if Miami is up 28 nothing at the half and decides to sit everybody on the first and even second team to give the backup quarterbacks some work and run the ball to give everybody in a healthy space for the games that follow versus a completely lethargic team that just scores points at the end so I’m not voting in your poll because the poll doesn’t actually count for the real thing you’re trying to ask

If we are up 21-7 at half and then push the lead to 38-7 I don’t think anyone would begrudge a garbage time td given up. Most likely scenario to get to that is we take our foot off the gas as we did at times last year.
 
It's a poll designed to do 2 things.

1. Get a sense of where the mindset is for those who wish to partake in it.
2. Draw out further conversation from ppl who wish to insert some.

I apologize for not recording a podcast or writing a 3 page article in advance of this poll to satisfy your personal needs but if you had taken the time to read my interaction with MiamisMopiestmopes you'd see we already touched on the much needed nuanced you desired.

I hope its not the old stubborn Mario/Dawson combo who decided it was smart to run up the middle on Indiana's stunting d-line in critical spots when the obvious and eventually discovered solution was running outside where we had a +10 yard/carry advantage vs. up the middle.

Yes, I hope it's not that one.

I hope Mensah has the authority to audible like Cam did. We are absolutely going to run a lot....and right up the middle. I'm cool with it to an extent. We have good RB. Supposedly got a good run blocking line. Hope Dawson can get in a groove and mix it up.
 
Was a little disappointed to see that Stanford will play their first game this weekend. And the good guys travel cross country to meet them in our opener. Yeah, we'll pull away, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's single digits or thereabout at halftime.

Hope so too. I think we averaged roughly 2.6 yds/carry up the middle on Indiana while averaging 12+ going outside. Took the staff too long to figure that out.

I agree with errthang u said EXCEPT “Lay The Wood” BIG PAUSE! We only lay the wood to females. We’re going to tackle them to the ground real hard & run ova them on offense. BIG PAUSE
 
Why would I be upset with a solid, workman-like 24-point road win across the country on a week 1 Friday night?
