Miami QB evals- more lucky or good

Id have to believe it will get easier. This looks like 3 years in a row where a transfer starter is getting top of market NIL, the clear day 1 starter, will win 10+ games / play in meaningful college football games, and improve their draft stock.

It’s got to be a coveted spot, no? If they represent a kid who has the goods to be the Miami QB1, I’d think agents would be positioning them soon.

Also, I think Mario got caught out a bit on portal + playoffs at the same time. I don’t think it will happen again.

Chance favors the prepared mind. While there has been some fortuity in the QB's that have joined us in the last 3 years, successful people and companies are considered by some to be lucky. Truth is that you are unlikely to take advantage of lucky breaks if you do not have the right culture, have not done the proper due diligence, and lack the necessary acumen.

High school QB evaluations have been below average, the QBs that they recruited are highly unlikely to be part of the big picture down the road and pretty much any HS quarterback recruited to Miami and that has transferred from Miami has done next to nothing
True. But that will change. Both Abrams and Cypher are big time talents. Annis is another Judd, Emory at best. But you need camp arms.
