Miami Hurricanes 2027 quarterback commit Israel Abrams will be competing at the Elite 11 event in Los Angeles, California, this weekend. Before the event gets underway, Abrams was named a top performer by Rivals.com on Tuesday afternoon.
According to Rivals, Abrams was one of the top performers from the Elite 11 regionals. Rivals ranked Abrams as the No. 4 quarterback during the event. Check out the rest of the list below:

Here is what Rivals analyst Charles Power had to say about the four-star quarterback:
"Israel Abrams flashed one of the stronger arms on the Elite 11 circuit. The football jumps out of the 6-foot-4, 190-pounder's hand. Abrams impressed with his ability to quickly get the football up and out, showing a quick, easy release. The Miami commit flashed easy arm strength, generating notable velocity to all levels. Abrams consistently ripped intermediate throws. He drove the football on wide out-breaking routes with ease, something that we also see on his junior film. Abrams is a quick mover but was a little wild and uncontrolled when rolling to his left. There is room to continue cleaning up the overall consistency and accuracy, as he missed high at times. Given what he showed, the Hurricane pledge could make a case as one of the top arm talents in the cycle."

Abrams is currently ranked as the No. 2 quarterback in the 2027 recruiting class by 247Sports, as well as being the No. 14 player nationally and the No. 1 player out of Illinois.
