How many teams could lose their best offensive player, one at QB and not be significantly worse? I'm trying to understand your viewpoint, but you are making it impossible for me not to say that you are being irrational as F. Would Ohio State be significantly worse without Smith? Indiana would be significantly worse if Mendoza got hurt. There are few, and I mean FEW teams out here losing premium talent and still winning at a high level. The days of 5 stars sitting behind other 5 stars are coming to an end.

Mario’s selling point is that he’s an elite recruiter. We are nowhere near talent level of the OSUs, UGAs, etc. Hopefully he gets there but we’re in year 4.
