Mario has wet dreams about this scenario - running out the clock in 1st half then starting 2nd with the all. Looks way too excited
A coach would want to score as quick as possible here knowing Pitt could very well 3 and out in 20 seconds and give us the ball back with a minute plus. Mario will be content for 3 and then get the ball to start the half.
 
this is the kind of clock mgmt you use if your defense is **** like last year

but needlessly, but intentionally taking 8 minutes to score is why Mario finds himself constantly in random jump balls for the game in the end
 
Don’t worry about time here just get a TD

This is where we fail, they play to run clock and not score TDs
Mario has actually played these scenarios right the last decade weeks, trying to take advantage of getting the ball back to start the second half.

I wouldn’t hate if we left ~30 seconds on the clock for them to think they can get points and let our DL get after them
 
Why don't we use tempo against this smaller defense? We're giving them too much time to regroup and analyze what we're doing
