Miami opens as 11pt favorites

I can't drink koolaide this year. I do not trust Al's defense. If UNC decides to run up middle, even if it is their QB, Al has proven he can't stop it. He is completely dependent on mistakes. If UNC fumbles enough, throws enough picks, or center snaps enough ball over QB's head, then we can win. Assuming Coley doesn't go back to calling WR screens every series. Al probably feels safe after the *** kicking the players put on VT last week. Al feeling safe is a bad thing; he will revert to default mode.

UNC is horrible, but that number is huge given the fact that their strength matches up against our weakness. That number should come down as time goes by.

huh?

What does that mean? What you huh'ing? If it's the strength v. weakness, they are a good passing team with a mobile QB. We have had trouble stopping that sort of offense ever since Folden's been here. We've yet to face a diverse offense like that this year.

so why are we favored by double digits?

Saw that it moved to -13.5 to -14 in some places. Vegas knows Larry Fedora is only worried about if he'll have time to go shirtless on the beach down here.

That FSU line was really surprising. Thought it'd be low double digits.

I hate double digit favs with Gorlden as corch. Would be nice if this moved under 10 pts.

We should beat them and out gain them by around 100yds. I just don't think that will translate into more than a 8-9 point win.

on the contrary, I'd love if we were double digit favorites in every game. That means we're actually that much better than our opponents. Vegas isn't stupid & put teams as double digit favorites just off name alone

Vegas doesn't dictate the betting lines, the betters do.

You sound like someone who's never set foot in a sports book in your life.

Bookies fvck up the lines all the time. That's when you see them move. If they never fvcked up the line it would never move once it was set.

Bookies set the line. Bettors move it.

I keep saying, Vegas seems to have us pegged. The line has moved significantly in several of our big games and aalways in the direction of the winner.

Nebraska, Louisville, Duke, GT, and VT all had opening lines that swung +3-5 points during the week that ended up being the right direction.

FWIW, we're now favored by 16.5 after we opened as 11-point favorites.

5.5-point swing within 24 hours of the line opening.

I think either we blow them out or we lose a shootout. Out offense should score but now lets see if the defense will continue what it did last week.

If that line is moving in favor of the canes, Vegas is drawing a bead on us. Canes big.

Yeah that's like 3 weeks in a row. All the numbers say we destroy UNC.
