Miami offers 4-star 2027 WR Jaden Upshaw

Who are the four schools?

“I will be at Texas A&M on May 28, Alabama on June 5, Florida on June 11, and Miami on June 19 for official visits,” Upshaw told Rivals.

While Florida is making a strong push, Texas A&M and Miami have carried consistent buzz coming out of the season.

It starts with the coaching staff,” Upshaw said of the Aggies. “Coach Wiggins is a great coach. He’s put guys in the league and makes me feel wanted. The atmosphere is great too. I was at the Florida game and it was my first time there — I liked it a lot. The environment and the staff really stand out.”

Texas A&M has been trending upward with Upshaw since early in the fall.

Miami has been right there as well, with receivers coach Kevin Beard playing a central role.

“I like KB a lot,” Upshaw said. “He’s a cool coach with great energy. We talk a lot, he always makes me feel important, and I know he can coach up receivers. Miami has a great staff, they’re winning, and I like it down there.”

It's going to get interesting seeing how the WR board shakes out. How many guys are they looking to take? How much are they willing to spend?

Stevens is committed and Lennear might as well be. From there? Upshaw? Mcfarland? If Wright reclassifies he's worth breaking the bank for.

Take what you can while you can. All those guys have mentioned us as a top contender. Take advantage of the moment.

If Wright becomes available early we will pay whatever we have to. But I would expect OSU behind the scenes type sh. It should be us vs them in this one.

Honestly take whoever wants to come.. roster is up to 105… let the best players play and be competitive. If the jojo saga is to be a learning moment is that even with all the talent you never know when talent starts getting equal who will push for the next level like Toney.

This one is a tight race, but Miami is right in the the thick of things.
....
It is important to note that Upshaw is the younger cousin of Miami wide receiver Daylyn Upshaw. That connections should help the Hurricanes.
