I've been following Miami recruiting since 2005 and I'm pretty sure that would be a first since I've been paying attention.

We've never had more than three 5 stars in one class, let alone 3 in a week. At least since 2002.

This is why Miami needed Cristobal. He was an elite recruiter recruiting for other schools, but he's taking it to another level now he's home. NIL took away the money issues. The facilities are being upgraded. The only thing left now is he'll need to win. Some kids will still want the college town, but the days of routinely losing the top talent out of South Florida are over. Given more time to build relationships with kids, it will be very hard to pull kids out of the area.
