If this is true then it means that Kuligowski took the DL Coach job without knowing who the Defensive Coordinator would be which means he wanted the job and wanted to work for Richt.
So he panicked and hired a joke corch.
Aranda would have been a program changing hire. And Richt couldn't land him. He preferred to go to a sinking ship than come here for $1mil.
Absolute epic failure.
May have to ban this donkey soon for her own good.
She's going to stroke out soon.

Correct. He honestly is probably ****ed that Diaz got this gig, Coach Kool is ten times the coach that Diaz is.
not sure i believe this. aside from the boards which have gotten every hire wrong. we didnt hear much about aranda and UM. Diaz came out of the blue but he was a mickey andrews protege when Richt was at FSU. Also, he and Kool are 4-3 guys. Richt made it clear the type of defense he wants to play and it wasnt Aranda's. i could be wrong but i feel that richt was prob going Diaz all the way
Ariz is rarely wrong on these things
Implicit in the word "rarely" is that it does happen, he could have been wrong. Just saying.
So LSU outbid us for Aranda and I assume they'll do the same with Raymond. It's the coaching equivalent of getting our hat knocked off the table instead of not being considered at all. If it's not enough to get the guys you want, then it doesn't mean s***.
Don't really care about being willing to spend more than we did in the past when it's still not enough to land top targets to fill out the staff. Especially when the fallback option at DC is so incredibly underwhelming.
Then donate more. Miami a mid-table, ****ty ACC football program that has never won the conference has hired a coach from an SEC power, likely ponied up for an indoor practice facility, hired one the best DL coaches in the country, purged an incompetent staff, and possibly offered a DC candidate $1 million. This is a 3-4 year project, anyone with a brain knows that. If you were told in mid-October everything I listed, you would have been fapping on the front lawn like you did in middle school. This program was dead 2 months ago, and no we just lost out to LSU for a top -tiered DC, we are in good hands. Come back in 4 years and see where we are.

Yup. 1 mil is relative. Clearly 1 mil isn't enough to land an elite DC in 2015. Once again, we are behind the times on what it takes to be elite. LSU will continue to excel, while we get stuck with the Cuban Dorito. Or is the Defensive Coley?
Why are you finding it hard to believe that LSU could outspend this program for an elite coach?
Their fans and alums support their program more than our folks.....hence the reason they can outbid us for coaches.
It's really not that hard to comprehend.
I don't get the crying, at all.
So we go from possibly Aranda, to this:
Manny Diaz defensive rankings (total/scoring)
2010 MSU: 49th/22nd
2011 UT: 11th/33rd
2012 Texas: 69th/74th
2013 Texas: incomplete, was fired after giving up 550 rushing yards to Baylor
2014 LA Tech: 32nd/54th
2015 MSU: 36th/58th
At,least we hired a coach with good experience going against the big boys. One thing we do know CMR doesn't mind firing that ***.
