Mario Cristobal's Miami Hurricanes are now ranked as the No. 4 team in the nation after the Hurricanes 52-3 victory over the Central Michigan Chippewas.



The good guys jumped the Indiana Hoosiers and the Ole Miss Rebels in the latest AP Poll. The top-five now includes No. 1 Texas, No. 2 Georgia, No. 3 Notre Dame, No. 4 Miami, and No. 5 Ohio State.

The Hurricanes and the SMU Mustangs are the only two teams in the Atlantic Coast Conference to be ranked inside the top-25. The Louisville Cardinals dropped out of the polls after losing to Wake Forest.

The team that took the biggest hit in the rankings was USC, dropping six spots from last week's ranking to the No. 18 team in the nation. The team with the biggest jump was the UCLA Bruins after defeating Maryland 54-3 last night.

They're a top 10 team. That offense is loaded and they have a strong front 7. They did get lucky running into an Ole Miss team that just looked tired and without Lacy.

They caught Ole Miss a week after the highly emotional Lane Bowl. That was the most predictable game of the week. UF was up for Ole Miss they way Ole Miss was up for LSU. its hard to replicate that 2 weeks in a row,

 

Ole miss is overrated, Louisville should have beat them.

 

Sucks but reality is that UF just had the most impressive win of the year.

We shall see if they are actually that good or if we're witnessing the annual ritual of SEC teams being ranked high because they beat other highly ranked SEC teams without any of them actually beating a good team.

lol… ok… Florida was the favorite, but no one expected them to put a 50 burger and beat them by 4 scores. No one… in the last 15 years the only other time that’s happened before, a regular season game where a team outside of the top 20 has done that to a top 5 teams was ironically Florida beating ole Miss in 2015. I hate Florida but it was a straight beat down. They made chambliss look completely avg. i expected a top 10 ranking.

Two things can both be true: UF played well and Old Miss was coming off their Superbowl and had a major let down. And Chambliss still played decently and better then average. The Old Miss D played like absolute trash.

Dont let them preseason BCS rankings fool yall. Ole Miss, LSU, UF, OU. None of them are championship level team, neither is Bama. UGA and Texas maybe. Yall saw how easily we handled UF and they knocked off Texas pretty handily. Yes new season but they got alot of the same players.

Trumpycane wouldn’t be surprised if we are 2/3 going into that game, Texas will drop one in the next month, **** UGA might lose to Bama
