Miami LB Raul Aguirre Enters Transfer Portal

I doubt that means anything, we know Wiley and Bonner r more athletic. Being in the right spot, diagnosing, and knowing your assignment will always be more important. Going into his senior year, Popo should be the guy next up. It’s not like he’s Ragone athletically.
Does being in the right spot and diagnosing lead to solo & assisted tackles, to interceptions, to forced fumbles, fumble recoveries, pass breakups? Or is it just film where we say there was popo?

But his abilities are limited physically. It's time to embrace fast, physical, sideline to sideline backers.

OK that's all fine and dandy…But then we hear Pruitt is moving safety (fast and very physical), Washington pushed out (very fast and very physical, albeit unproven), and we didn't bring anyone in from the portal? Wiley is a board favorite and fits your description? But where's the rest and why no portal?

Pruit and the other one( I think it's day) are both penalties waiting to happen on a play by play basis. Bobby can't stay healthy and can't learn the playbook adequately enough. I'd love to see Bobby figure it out cause him more than anything is what I want out of that position. We have plenty of talent in the room and obviously if we're not targeting more than heatherman feels good about what we already have. That's his room. I trust him for that. We just got pretty good results out of what I feel was a very average core unit & that is without question the best way I can describe them...

Ehhh it's not like it was a tiny sample size, he played 250 snaps or so this season.
Fair enough. In all those snaps he accounted for 22 solo tackles and 21 assists. It's further example that as I said that room was VERY BASIC. If you really want we to break it down even further you know EXACTLY how basic it is due to how dependant we were on our safety play. In particular Jakobe & Keionte and to a lesser extent poyser. Teams that have strong linebacker play aren't entirely dependent on the safety room enforcing the run...

Lawd has yalls standards fallen... Not only am I seeing most of y'all thought wes was actually a **** good linebacker(when he was average at best)but now y'all crying over popo when he's an even slower poor man's version of wes. In the right system he can work. But his abilities are limited physically. It's time to embrace fast, physical, sideline to sideline backers. Wes played because of continuity. He wasn't a weakness and he knew the playbook. But why start over with a similar version of him who struggles with communication as well.
I agree with this, but I think what most people are saying is that it's unclear whether we have that fast, physical, sideline-to-sideline LB on our roster.

If we do they've been buried on the depth chart.

Bissainthe is a weird one - I've always been underwhelmed with him, but it looks like he's going to get drafted, so he can't be that bad.
