While Miami fans scramble with all the news surrounding the 2026 class , the ‘Canes have gone out and landed a stud in the 2027 class with defensive back Jaylyn Jones.



A 6 foot, 180 pound safety from Hollywood, FL, Jones has been one of the best pass disruptors in South Florida for Western and now for McArthur — racking up 14 pass breakups and three interceptions alongside 82 tackles and three sacks.
