Beating Notre Dame at home on a controversial play really carries more weight than Ohio State going on the road and beating Indiana??

I ******* hate Ohio State like the best of us but you’ve got to be kidding me. Just shows the **** sucking love (pause) that Notre Dame gets from the media.
Being undefeated and not losing to what will be a 3 or 4 loss Texas team I think is what voters see. The AP can be stupid but winning games should matter more than quality losses

Some people just don’t understand.
We use to be #1 all the time.
Do you know what this does for the Brand?
Put your Miami Jersey on when you go out and watch the reaction, love to wear it when traveling through airports and you hear Go Canes repeatedly.
Quit acting like a puzzy.

Ohio state looked really bad. ND is a better team than this current Indiana team so yeah, beating them is more impressive. BYU controlled most of the game. Plus OSU could still lose another game or two without sayin.
Indiana looked better than ND imo. Both struggled against middling teams this year but Ind played OSU and should've won if not for a bone headed play. ND lost to BYU without their best player and lost to mistakes they made.

I know people are saying we don’t look like champs after the fsu game, but this reminds me of the old pre-Dana White UFC where it was a one night tournament and fighters had multiple fights in one night.

Even when a great fighter fought a tomato can in early rounds , he still could get touched up and by the end of the tournament both of the finalists were always bruised and battered. At the end of the night one man was left standing. No one said he was less of a champion just because “lesser” fighters made him earn it.

Its wild to me personally that THAT game was the last time we were #1. As a kid, i became a Hurricane fan that day. And as a kid, i thought it was ok and just assumed we would be back the next year and win it all. I just thought thats how it worked. 23 years later.... a full circle moment for me. Now we just have to finish the deal and finally get that 6th chip that was stolen from us that day.

BYU didn’t lose to a mediocre Texas team, so voters prolly calculate that too.

Yeah I was going to say the same. Texas is booty cheeks. I would have factored that in as well. Indiana isn’t what they were last year and BYU beating ND is a more impressive win.

Rat poison, they won’t even post about it on twitter. Mario is probably going to show up today and tell everyone they don’t deserve to be # 1
At last night's presser when it was brought up he basically said who gives a ****.

I get it. That was on the road and at that time, Texas was highly regarded.

Florida beat Texas at home.

Just a lot of good, not great teams in college football. I was convinced Georgia was a juggernaut. Guess not.

I just think that the schedule and players Ohio State has is more impressive than anything BYU and Notre Dame has and feel that beating Notre Dame is getting way more credit than it deserves.

When they play a good team, they struggle and lose.
I think OSU losing their QB is really going to change OSU’s season ( as it would if any team did) but what I want to see is when they lose another game and I think they will does the CFP committee remember what they did to an undefeated FSU team when they lost theirs.

Will be interesting.
