The sort of kid that is able to get into Stanford will most of the time pick that school over UM.
And if they don't pick Stanford, they will look at Duke, Vandy, Rice, Northwestern,etc.
If UM is going that route, they will be a 4-5 win season program.
And they won't go that far.
Unless they plan on playing in front of 9-10 thousand fans at Joe Robbie Stadium (see Tulane home games).
