I mean it’s been the same soft *** coverage all season… he’s gotta start mixing in some pressure and get QBs uncomfortable that the first read isn’t gonna be open in 3-5 yards and can get it out and not have to worry about a pass rush

He’s killing his own pass rush leaving easy quick dump passes

this is literally the first touchdown scored on the defense this season. wake has an efficient offense. them scoring was inevitable. now let's see how heatherman adjusts.

I watch OL and DL very closely. DL has been very meh and the DT’s I expected to be the strength. Dominate games.

Blount is a DT long-term I feel. Kick him inside, Wilson and Lightfoot on the edge. Critque of Heatherman too reliant on cover 3 at times. Even short bodies you have to trust your dbs especially because we have more than a few who excel in man.

With the offense we have, we should be running aggressive blitzes all game. I'd rather teams score fast if they are going to score so our offense can get back out on the field.

Yeah a Manny Diaz defense probably works better than what we have now. Do you want to get picked apart or take chances for negative plays? with a high scoring offense I say take chances. Otherwise we're dying a death of a thousand cuts.
