Beck threw a pick to end the game all 3 losses this year.

That’s exactly how we should have expected a loss to end.
Dawson and mario should have literally told him only throw check downs all the way down field.

He wanted glory for absolutely no reason. We had EASY yards getting to the 20ish with ease with like 30 secs. There was zero logic to going for it all

Yeah, that’s a problem. Some good folks, but others coming out of woodwork who are clueless & fair weather.

we'll be back

fkn fake ND fans never will be...

Lets announce Mensah, seaton and Wilson and fk sht up next year....

Wouldn’t have a problem with that last throw if it had more air and gave him a chance at a 50/50 ball. Also had Toney wide open underneath with room to run. Just crazy bc we gave it away as much as Indiana won it. That’s the only reason it stings. Missed FG, untimely penalties leading to Indy points, blocked punt obviously

Can’t decide if I’m more disappointed about the interception, the blocked punt TD, or the 4th down and 5 QB keeper that converted and scored because we didn’t blitz (Cignetti even said after the game he knew it would work based on coverage tendencies).

Could easily point to any of them. All 3 had to hit for them to win it and they did.

Apparently there's always a reason, players or coaches.

Ppl forget there's another team on the field and guess what? They might be better. It happens.

I think we were watching two NFL type teams on the field.
They played a cleaner game and were able to run the ball better than I thought they would.

for sure, not saying he’s the only one at fault but we had that win in the palm of our hands at the end even with those penalties and missed tackles and he didn’t need to throw that

He didnt need to throw that, but under throwing it was the crime....if he throws that to the Pylon its incomplete or a TD. Time is stopped and we move on to the next down

Your probably right but we didn't deserve the win

Blocked punt and 4th down Mendoza run. Ok come nation. Love you guys

If that last pass was 4-6 inches higher we'd be celebrating the game winning TD instead. Truly a game of inches.

Though I will never forgive Bauman for his inexplicable decision to stop blocking on the punt and let his guy go, especially given our punter rolls out to that side to kick. If he were beaten, well that happens, but he just consciously decided to let the guy go

Beck will be remembered as an average QB, who threw the interception that ruined the dreams of millions of people in Miami! Why, we were going down the field!
Tough to pull out the win in those circumstances. Yet, how many times in the last 15 years have inferior ACC teams done it to Miami? On the other hand, what put UM in that 2-minute last gasp effort? Poor offensive performance in the 1st half, blocked punt for a TD. I won't even blame Bain for the offsides that led to a IU score, not the way he played his heart out. Special teams and poor offensive play for half of the game are to blame.

For me its the blocked punt because it was 0 effort in a game this big.

This exactly. So many are quick to say Beck isn’t to blame because of our other faults tonight (and I agree for the most part), but even with all of our other faults we had that win in the palm of our hands and that throw at the end absolutely killed us.

That drive was set up so nicely for us to steal the natty

All the IU hype, Mendoza hype, the mistakes we made and the game was there to win

Just take the check downs, intermediate stuff get to the 30 then go for it

Heck I’ve seen hook and laterals lately that would have worked to get closer

We needed to just get closer

This really hurts we had this
