Is Dawson still going to be here? He lost this game in the 1st half.
With Beck at Qb. Trying to tread water a not let it get out of hand.

Beck can not read zone. He gets away with it by locking on to one guy (usually the third most open guy on the play) and having plus anticipation.

I’ve been holding it in to avoid bad juju. But be real with the hand Dawson was dealt. Dawson isn’t perfect but we win this game with Ward or Mensah at Qb.

Tough to pull out the win in those circumstances. Yet, how many times in the last 15 years have inferior ACC teams done it to Miami? On the other hand, what put UM in that 2-minute last gasp effort? Poor offensive performance in the 1st half, blocked punt for a TD. I won't even blame Bain for the offsides that led to a IU score, not the way he played his heart out. Special teams and poor offensive play for half of the game are to blame.
I listened to the IU broadcast. Their announcers thought Bain was tremendous. They never badmouthed him.

Listen, it was a great year, unexpected, and it didn't end the way I believe it should have.

I'd put that on our first half gameplan, soft cushions, and trying to Bro ball an outnumbered OL into 7 and 8 man fronts.

We changed it up at the half, dominated, pressed their receivers, and looked good.

You can add Bauman to the list of at fault as well. That lack of a block on the punt was inexcusable.

To the victor goes some credit, IU tackled well and that weird depth back shoulder to Becker were big.

Lastly, the refs can eat a ****. I stopped counting at 20 holds and PI calls that should've been made. We maybe had a quarter to half at best of what they got. Mendoza run up the middle, Bain crushes him for a loss if he wasn't held. Such bs, they called more holds on our returns than IU on offense.

What a run, it was fun!

They played a cleaner game and were able to run the ball better than I thought they would.
Yeah I thought at some point, being bigger stronger faster was gonna keep up, but they ran up the A gap well.

The weakness of Indiana defense was outside of the tackles ont he runs and tempo, just found it too late.

Picked on Ethan O'Connor, not sure the answer there. I guess the lose to Brown showed.

They showed all year they just throw sidelines and ran A gap, and we were doing a pretty good until the end.

Mendoza with his team on the line on 4th & 5 runs thru our best defenders for a TD..Beck with all the marbles in his hands to deliver is #6 throws a game ending int just like he did against SMU. Great season love what we were able to do but tonight would’ve been won with a QB like Cam at the helm
And a real threat at receiver.

The QB and wr obviously weren't on the same page. Something really weird about that play. QBs at becks level don't miss passes by that much. There was miscommunication.
Even in the huddle Beck said something to Marion, and still weren’t on the same page and didn’t get the ball to him

Cam would have won it.

The D gave up 20 points.

If I woulda told you this morning the D would only give up 20 points in this game, you'da said that we were gonna win.

No. It was simply a bad read by Beck. He made a presnap read and did not verify it after the snap.
