Miami Hurricanes 2023 Roster Composition

I may have miscounted. But it looks like there are only 30 players remaining from pre-Mario (I'm including the recruits from the 2022 class originally recruited by Manny's staff who stuck with Mario as being post-Mario's hiring). Given we can almost certainly expect another 5 or so from that group to transfer out between now and next August, we should expect the team to be comprised of 60+ Mario-era players.

The remaining 25 or so include some of our best talent -- LT, Kinchens, DVD, Nelson, Chaney, Rivers, James Williams, etc -- along with glue guys like Clark, Brantley and Flagg. It's a really good mix, and it's essentially already Mario's team. Certainly will be come Summer/Fall camp.

Yep, I was counting around 60 players who are now gone from the 2021 season.

@GojiraCane, You may be the most qualified person to answer this question, even if you just use our UM roster as a database.

Question: What percentage of 3-4-5 star players pan out? To make it more measurable, what percentage of 3-4-5 star players end up being full-time starters?

I would think the 5 star players would have the higher % and so forth but I'd be curious what the actual numbers are.

Am I counting this correctly? We have 78 on roster right now, including Ragone? + 1 Kicker, 1 Punter = 80 scholarship players.

There are 32 "BMC"guys on roster -- i.e. players that came before the 2022 class and portalers. In all, I see another 7-10 of those 32 gone by June. 3-4 OL alone should end up transferring out, plus the 5 open spots. Which means we have 12-15 more kids we can pick up from HS and the Portal. .... LFG.

Is the punter (not Lou) on scholarship?
