Updated to include today's signings (except our new punter, do not have a ST section).

Leaving Cormani in as of today.

A couple more edits needed:

Francisco Mauigoa (the LB brother)
Sam Coufal (PWO, but still…)

i believe we will bring in 35 new guys. not mel tucker but its quite a turnover.

We're already at 30 (assuming Cormani sticks). I expect we take 7+, most from portal:
* 2 more WRs
* 1 more DT (need)
* 1 more OLB (need)
* 1 more OT (likely)
* 1 more CB (likely)
* 1 more S (likely)
* 1 more Edge (possible)

+ 1-2 best available from HS between now and National Signing Day. A few quality kids still unsigned. For example, if Harbor even has an inkling of interest, you go after him as hard as you possibly can.

@GojiraCane lists 80 scholarship players. Add 2 more for kicker and punter to get to 82. I feel absolutely confident we can take 8 more kids, since that would get us to 90, and mean we need to find only 5 kids to not renew their scholarship.

Go look at the list. It's not super painful to identify 5 kids you could peel off between now and July, not to mention a couple you wish would stay but will probably leave given all the changes.

Updated to include Francisco Mauigoa at LB, moved Kaleb Spencer to safety.

Linebacker appears good to go for next season and beyond.

It really shows that this is going to take several years. We really need four classes like this years before we can compete. Probably at least 3 classes before we challenge for the ACC.

If the ol can block and Tvd plays to his potential, there’s no reason why we can’t challenge for the ACC next year. Even without a true wr 1

2022 we added some really talented kids just not enough. I agree. 2024 is vital, we need at least 3 solids classes in a row.

I think what is sometimes missed is our 5-star OTs are not following up past 5-star OTs and are not going up against veteran 5-star DEs. I expect our staff will develop them well but not having strong talent to compete with well have an impact.

right. for example, we have alot of talent at De now but its all soph and freshmen. 2024 class is vital. iron sharpens iron. our fans can think we have alot of talent but there's a reason we haven't have players getting drafted much for a few years.

We don't need to be great to win the Coastal and make the ACCCG. We should be able to beat the likes of Virginia, Pitt and UNC, the last 3 Coastal champs, to face the Atlantic winner. I just want to get to 9 or 10 wins and start the virtual cycle of back to back Top 5 classes. 2-3 more years means nothing after the last 20. ... Go build Rome, Mario.
