Official Miami Herald Bain article

the headline is not very endearing and plus this is OLD news. why does it need to be brought up again now?
Agreed. But the Herald was not exactly breaking the news. Perhaps I should merge this with the other thread, but it was being reported in a much more nefarious way by many other places first.

You might not like it, but there is nothing in that story that is not factual. He was involved in an accident where a person later died. Media lives on people clicking on the story and reading. They need to get people to click. The headline of "Bain was cleared of any wrong doing of this accident and the person was not wearing a seat belt" isn't going to get any clicks.

And to add to that, the local paper can't just ignore the story after national publications reported it. If you want to blame anybody, blame the cuck Ohio Taint fan who put this out right before the draft when NFL teams already knew about it

Nobody is arguing with "factual" on an overly simplistic level.

People question the timing of the article and the implications of the headline. And, no, some "Ohio Taint fan" doesn't necessitate that article.

Yep, read it...Article is fair.

Timing is very questionable.

This was my takeaway. Also, it has gotten out that the family of this young woman would like to put this tragedy behind them.

Releasing this article 2 years later (and about 2 weeks before the NFL Draft) under these circumstances feels like a dirty move.

A then 20-year-old kid with a lot of money made a bad decision driving and something bad happened? Color me shocked. As long as Rueben learned his lesson, life should go on sad as it is for the family of the other person involved (RIP).

Nothing to see here except all of the above reopening a wound for a family matter already settled, and by using Bain just as he is ready to step out on the big stage......

OSU...ND. MH..agent money changing hands to affect the draft....we do not know.
What we do know is that this B/S is trolled out there to dis our U, and our players.

The clear pic though is to draw clicks and embarrass a fellow Cane.......

This **** is all over espeein right now. Constantly. It's crazy how they will use this... yet, really nothing ever about Jawja and the **** culture Curbee has developed there. Not to mention the courts didn't pursue this with Bain.

**** . Complete hack job. Like lebitard and sport illustrated. Fook him . The people of the city where I was born no longer read a national newspaper because of the lies it printed about the people who live there. This guy should be beat with a stick any time you see him.
I only caught a bit of it but what the **** was fat Lebatard insinuating or suggesting today on his sorry *** show?
