Exactly. Golden beat nobody, never won the conference and constantly loss to the best teams in his conference.

2009: Ohio (Lost by 18) and didn't play CMU
2010: Miami (Lost by 20), Ohio (Lost by 9) and Northern Ill (Lost by 14)

Those teams were the ones that were conference champions or simply ahead of Temple.

Wasn't it also reported that UM paid an additional $4M to get rid of Folden now instead of waiting till December? Seems to me that the money myth is being exploded by actions.

Exactly. I'd rather Chud or Butch. I know they would bring in a good staff & they don't need an option QB to run their offense
 
I'd rather go with an NFL OC or DC that is looking at this opportunity to become an NFL coach or perhaps a current NFL coach (Harbaugh, Pagani). That is, of course, if we do not get Butch.
 
I'm going to continue to be a McDonald's cheeseburger in relation to UM until they make a good hire. I'm just going to keep being that same cheeseburger every day that thinks they'll act in accord with their past bumbling and botch this thing.

Herman also has the #4 player on the ESPN300 committed he's a DT. We like DT's. Maybe a bonus if we get the hire?

He's a local kid from the Houston area. I saw him interviewed on one of the recruiting programs a month or so ago. Basically said he likes the way Houston is headed so decided to commit there. But when pushed by the hosts he conceded that it's not absolute that he will attend Houston, that somebody could blow him away during the later stages of the recruiting process. The two hosts seemed very doubtful that he actually signs with Houston.
