The defense was nasty. Watching them live in the backfield all day and destroying a spread team like WVU in that fashion was beautiful. The defense specifically reminded me of the old school Canes defense. Our speed was clearly superior and you had the hard -hitting, turnover -creating defenses that we have come to expect at Miami. Whoever says that coaching does not matter can only look at what we are doing with the schemes this year compared to last year. The strength of Florida boys is speed, speed, speed. Use that speed to attack their QB and blow up plays and everything will take care of itself. I am convinced this game would have been a loss under Golden and WVU would have had a 28-7 lead at the half easily with that 34 bullcrap he used to neutrally our greatest strength. Manny Diaz and Kool are a perfect combo of savages that are unleashing our athletes. The offense is yet to catch up, a couple of more playmakers like Pope and lingered and Miami will start winning big again.
