I figured that was the case with Pickett. Evans has good size. Stinks that he's having a lackluster Senior year. I believe Bacon is also struggling his senior year.

I'd love to see us get Parris. He's supposed to be visiting during the bye week.

Correct. @DMoney in the latest bank said he was having a great senior year and we would honor the scholarship

The only bad news is the knee injury to Canon Pickett (Tampa). He will remain in the class as he works back to 100%. This class is pretty complete. The only way I see it changing is if an elite name wants in, which is possible.​

Before we get into specific positions, I wanted to make a couple general points. First, the staff is placing a huge emphasis on evaluating senior film. Some guys are making jumps, others take step backs, some stay the same. These evaluations will be critical for the class. Keep that in mind as you read reports.

So Pickett is definitely not one of the two.

@DMoney description of his status in the latest bank wasn't exactly a ringing endorsement. Although to be fair, he had the same description for a couple of other names on the safe list (like Asharri Charles).

Tyran Evans (Charlotte) is committed.​

Well, @DMoney threw in the ominous "He remains committed" and unlike Pickett, I don't see anything about the being locked in and honoring the scholarship. Since Flo didn't mention him, it don't think he's on the for sure safe list.

Obviously I trust the coaches evaluations. Especially DLewis. Think he's a major upgrade. They also just added Sainteus.

Dmoney also said they felt the Oline class was special and the senior films were outstanding. So that would left Evans and Bacon. Which makes sense considering who we are still recruiting.
 
I don't follow Flo that much…Has he been accurate enough for us to be doing all this speculating who these decommits will be and that there is actually traction with some of these new names? Track record good or just throwing stuff out there hoping something sticks?

@DMoney …. You seemed confident hat maybe outside of a safety, Thompkins, or some big names we are hunting/trying to flip on DL this class is done? Are you still feeling that way or are you hearing these names Flo is mentioning?

Zero chance the class is complete. We need a min of 1 more DE. They will take another WR especially a big body. I would expect another TE (27 kid and/or UF kid for example). The Pitt DT or another like him. Then you have potential 27 reclassifications like Dopson, Nic, etc that you find a spot for as they are 4/5star types from the crib.

I believe we are whale hunting and like the guys we have in the bag… if numbers get tight while obviously wanting to leave room for portal adds those names will get processed

Sparks will be interesting because he seems like a good plug into bolles and that big time 28 DE ghritto(sp)
