Amditis is apparently having an x-ray when they get back. Absolutely no luck on the injury front. Arguably our two best hitters plus Maury, Bartow, and McMahon who all are valuable arms. Not to mention Ruiz and Varela having TJ before fall ball even started.

On the game front: it was Mediavilla being his usual inconsistent self, fielding errors both mental and physical, and poor situational hitting. The top of the 8th was a killer. You have to get at least one run in with runners on the corners and no outs.

Positives from the game: Federman continues to pitch well, Cook threw strikes and had a good albeit short outing, and Cloonan had two solid at bats (double and hit the ball hard after working the count in the final at-bat)

We desperately need a four game sweep this weekend. I just question whether we have the pitching to do it unless Bartow is back. Can't afford to do worse than 3-1.
