This is funniest part of the boards. Kid visited like 10 minutes ago and it’s not worth it because message posters can’t handle the stress.
Also, NHL is in the playoffs and people are like, "**** all that; I'm following every move of one kid in the spring transfer portal!"

She was an administrator, not a business person. She could have used the same ambition and support to compete in athletics currently leading the BOT and Joe Echevarria at []__[]Health fixing the finances to do the same thing we're doing now.

If she isn't willing to listen to the players/students and goes with her gut to put in Alvarez maybe we win # 5 & 6; who knows? I think she's a convenient target for obvious reasons and the narrative has taken root, but neither her passion nor support for athletics is appreciated.

If any BOT members wanted the OB to be saved badly enough I can't imagine it wouldn't have been. Donna (and every President) served at the BOT's behest and, at that time, athletics wasn't of primary importance to the leadership.

It has taken new leadership and alignment at all levels, from the field to the Hecht, in the Ashe Building and--most importantly--changes on the Trustee Board to turn this thing around. So it's a little...unreasonable, to say one person purposely destroyed the program.

Alvarez and Wannstedt (Dolphins HC) both turned Miami by the time Dorsey and Reed lead players to her office. Her gut probably would have lead her to hire whoever Alavarez recommended and we all saw multiples times how that worked out.
