Think Dyoni brown was Spring.

But I like how you think by them not adding enough DBs it meant we were being cheap. Lol. Do you believe all those guys I just named was cheap?
Go reread what I wrote “cheap” was never mentioned and money was also never brought up, I said we’ve never done enough to make this team the best it could be, now if you think the missing piece was Dyoni Hill that’s another argument, but the cane shades came off after I kept hearing “Myles mooyoung looks impressive” and heard zero about actual guys we recruited

With our needs and what is currently in the portal, AJ is the single biggest piece available. He is the only immediate difference maker for our needs right now. Simpson and Watson could help this D, but I guess we don't want to go their. The reason doesn't matter. Haulcy is the single biggest need I see, besides the WR we are waiting on, if he enters. Otherwise, Haulcy and Pena are must gets for me. Pena is iffy with his injury history, but we need a good proven WR.

According to Geo Milian on Twitter, Miami is expected to be in play and to be a contender for Houston defensive back transfer A.J. Haulcy.

Haulcy is a 6-foot, 215-pound standout safety and ranks among the best defensive backs in the nation. This past season with the Cougars, he recorded 74 tackles and a career best of five interceptions.

A.J. has one more year of eligibility left and earned a spot on the first-team All-Big 12 for his standout year as a safety this past season.

In Haulcy's career, he played in 2,121 plays. During a conference away game this season versus TCU, he made two interceptions, helping the Cougars secure a 30-19 win. Due to his performance against TCU, the Houston native was honored as the Thorpe Award National Defensive Back of the Week.

You would think miami offering this kid a chance to compete for a starting job at safety at the university of Miami would be enough to snag him but i guess NIL matters too. I hope miami lands him. We need another reliable proven starter at safety.
