Doubt it. I was using that to show that it isn't neccessarily taking the other Safety over Haulcy. You'd have to look at it holistically. In the scenario where we did get Watson, what kind of safety add do you think we'd be getting? Certainly doubt it'd be Haulcy calibur.

Yeah I understand that but there is another side to that example where you don't get the DT and still end up with bargain safety. Hopefully it all works out in our favor.

I’m with you on the overall premise of bypassing Haulcy to land an impact DT like Watson. The caveat being that the drop of from Haulcy can’t be the KSU kid, mainly because if he does turn out good in the long run he’s going to need atleast a good year of development
 
I’m really beginning to believe the spring transfer portal is where the “Conference Champions” and “National Champions” announce themselves we do well in the winter portal but now that we’ve had spring practice and we know the rosters strengths and weaknesses they just hope and pray the weaknesses sort themselves out, I’ve never come out of a spring window saying we really tried to make this team the best it can be, it just feels like we’re cool with conference success we have no ambition of national success.

you say this after we added Martinez, Barrown, Sam Brown, Tyler Baron, all in Spring Portal last year, didn't we? That is absolutely spending very big.... so literally no idea what you're basing that statement off of.

But I like how you think by them not adding enough DBs it meant we were being cheap. Lol. Do you believe all those guys I just named was cheap?
